Courtenay Recreation’s The LINC Youth Centre is currently seeking applications for skateboarding and/or scootering program instructors. This is a non-union, casual position responsible for working with youth 6-14 years in structured and unstructured environments. Applicants must have interest and/or experience working with children and youth, be willing to undergo a criminal record check and the desire and knowledge to teach skateboarding and/or scootering skills. Current First Aid, Class 4 Drivers License and Food Safe certifications and experience in running children’s recreation or sport programs are an asset.
Hours may include daytime, evenings, and weekends. Wage varies depending on experience and qualifications.
