The Comox Valley Regional District partners with BC Transit and contractor Watson and Ash Transportation Co. Ltd. to deliver transit service in the Comox Valley. Together these groups set fare levels, establish schedules, gather public feedback, and look at growth patterns to determine future expansion of the system.
Where can I purchase tickets?
Courtenay City Hall at 830 Cliffe Avenue is just one of many local suppliers of transit tickets. For a more up to date list of all outlets please visit BC Transit
Bus Shelter Program
The City of Courtenay, in partnership with BC Transit, installs up to three new shelters each year. In 2013 the City installed three shelters:
- Lerwick Road at Ryan Road (Thrifty’s Plaza, northbound )
- Arden Road at 1st Street, South bound
- Old Island Hwy at Lewis Center, West bound
When deciding new shelter locations, the City of Courtenay and the Comox Valley Regional District review usage and route data to determine optimum locations. For inquiries about new shelters and transit stops, please contact the Comox Valley Regional District at 250-334-6000.
