Board of Variance
A variance appeal process applied to avoid creating situations of hardship for the property owner
You will require a Development Variance Permit if your project does not conform to a bylaw regulation (ie. zoning, development, sign bylaw)
Official Community Plan
An amendment is required when a proposed land use is not consistent with the land use designations of the OCP
