Moving to Stage Three Water Restrictions

From the Comox Valley Regional District:

"Due to BC Hydro’s fall maintenance on the Puntledge River generating station, the Comox Valley Regional District (CVRD) water system will be supplying water to consumers via standby pumping stations from Tuesday, September 16 at 9 a.m. until Thursday, September 25 at 4:00 p.m., which will require entering into stage three water restrictions.

The stage three restrictions are necessary to maintain enough water in the system during this time for household and fire fighting needs. Residents are asked to use water only when completely necessary."
