5th Street, Highway 19A Temporary Lane Closures on January 3

Updated: The contractor has advised that the previously announced banner pole removal date has been postponed from December 21 to January 3.

On Tuesday, January 3, contractors will be removing the wooden banner poles adjacent to the roadway at Highway 19A south of Anfield Road, as well as on 5th Street next to Lewis Park.

To safely complete this work, there will be single-lane alternating traffic at the following times:

• Highway 19A South of Anfield: 8:00 am to approx. 12:00 noon
• 5th Street next to Lewis Park (between 5th Street Bridge & Comox Road): approximately 12:00 noon to 4:00 pm
