Appreciation for Marlene Oolo

On Friday, December 16, Courtenay Mayor Larry Jangula and Councillor Erik Eriksson presented Marlene Oolo with a Certificate of Appreciation from the City of Courtenay. The certificate recognizes Marlene’s outstanding contributions to the City of Courtenay and the entire community over many years.

Marlene is an amazing volunteer who has served as Sid Williams Board President, board director of the Comox Valley Community Arts Council, organizer of Canada Day celebrations at the Sid Williams Theatre, Sid Williams Theatre and Evergreen Club volunteer, and has also given her time and energy to several local dance and theatre organizations.
