8th Street Construction and Traffic Detours

Update Wednesday, April 5, 12:30 pm:
8th Street between McPhee and Harmston Avenues will be closed to general traffic from Wednesday, April 5 to Friday, April 7, between 7:30 am and approximately 4:00 pm each day. City of Courtenay Public Works Services crews will be working on the storm drain network on this street.

The alleyway between 7th Street and 8th Street off McPhee Avenue will be closed as well. The alleyway can be accessed off the east entrance only.

During construction, access will be limited to local traffic and emergency services. All other traffic will be detoured via posted side streets. Please obey traffic control personnel as they work to assist all commuters and emergency vehicles. Thank you!
