Comox Road Water Main Replacement Project Nearing Completion

Comox Road commuters, construction on the Comox Road water main replacement project will be wrapping up soon.

This Thursday and Friday May 18 and 19, crews will be paving the shoulders that were excavated as part of the project.

Next week there will be some minor restoration work, and contractors working on behalf of the Ministry of Transportation will begin prep work for full repaving of the road. The repaving is expected to happen in the second week of June, and will take place overnight.

The City of Courtenay thanks all commuters for their understanding over the past several weeks during this necessary infrastructure replacement project.
