Community Drug Strategy
The Community Drug Strategy Committee and the Soroptomist Club have assembled a resource manual of organizations providing support to those affected by drugs and alcohol.
In 2002, the City of Courtenay passed the following resolution:
“Whereas the City of Courtenay cares about its residents and recognizes that intoxicant abuse affect the whole of our community;
Therefore be it resolved that the City of Courtenay supports programs which raise awareness and encourages partnerships that will promote solutions to create a safer community, healthier families, and an informed youth.”
It is our hope that this manual will provide easy access to information, matching members of our community to the resources and supports they need to move towards healthier, happier lives.
