The meeting was called to order at 4:02 p.m.

.01 Moved by Presley and seconded by McRae that the minutes of the regular Council meeting held April 2, 2007 be adopted.

4.00 COMMITTEE/STAFF REPORTS
.01 CLIFFE AVE WIDENING AT 20TH 3220-20-115-20TH
Moved by Presley and seconded by Leonard that Council approve the temporary removal of part of the Mile of Flowers on Cliffe Avenue (Hwy19A) between 1935 and 2085 Cliffe Avenue to accommodate the construction of a left-turn lane on Cliffe Avenue.

Moved by McRae and seconded by Presley that the Fire Report for March 2007 be received for information.

Moved by McRae and seconded by Presley that the letter from the Comox Valley Economic Development Society be received; and
That the application for funding from the Comox Valley Farmers Institute to the Coast Sustainability Trust be supported.
