PERMISSIVE TAX EXEMPTION

Applying for Permissive Property Tax Exemption

Courtenay Council has adopted comprehensive Policy # 1960.01 Rev.1 in regards to the provision of permissive tax exemptions for qualifying Not-for-Profit Organizations within the City of Courtenay.

Policy details and application forms are available below, and at City Hall, 830 Cliffe Avenue. Please note that applications must be submitted by JUNE15th  each year for the following property taxation year.
