Province of BC helps fund Lewis Centre project
The Lewis Centre Expansion & Renovation Project will receive $400,000 from the Ministry of Community, Sport, and Cultural Development's Community Recreation Program.
The funding was announced this morning by Don McRae, MLA Comox Valley, in a cheque presentation at the Lewis Centre. Mayor Larry Jangula accepted the grant on behalf of the City of Courtenay.
"We are thrilled to receive funding for this project," said Mayor Jangula. "The Lewis Centre plays a key role in the health and wellness of our community, and we truly appreciate this contribution from the Province of BC."
