Traffic Study 2006
The study was completed and received by City Council on June 12, 2006.
Study objectives:
- Recommend a transportation network that will serve the population of the City of Courtenay now and for the next 20 years.
- Provide a schedule for implementing the 20 year plan at five year intervals.
- Assess the need for new Courtenay River Crossing.
- Undertake an Operational Review at a number of key locations throughout the City of Courtenay.
Future Work:
- Determine the construction phasing and implementation of the recommended plan.
