Agricultural Committee
The City of Courtenay is forming an Agricultural Advisory Committee to provide advice to City staff and Council regarding development in and adjacent to City land in the Agricultural Land Reserve.
The Committee will meet as required to review development applications and provide recommendations. Committee members will be appointed by Council and will serve a term of two years. Membership is limited to residents of the Comox Valley who have demonstrated experience and/or knowledge in agricultural issues or who represent agricultural organizations.
Community members meeting these criteria who wish to join the Committee are invited to submit a letter of interest by September 15, 2006. Letters should be sent to:
