We are looking for fun and energetic individuals to join our Fitness and Wellness Centre Teams! If you have a desire to continue to learn and grow in the job, are committed to serving the public, and enjoy team work and collaboration, then we are looking for you! This is a non-union, casual position responsible for working with public ages 16+ in structured and unstructured environments.
Applicants must have a passion for fitness and be willing to work flexible shifts throughout weekdays, evenings and weekends, possess First Aid, and be willing to obtain a criminal record check. High school graduation or equivalent PLUS one or more of the following designations dependent upon course of instruction:BCRPA Group Fitness or accepted equivalent, BCRPA Weight Training designation or accepted equivalent, or BCRPA Personal Training designation or accepted equivalent. Spin/indoor cycling and TRX certification is also preferred. Experience and/or certificates in recreation, education, human/social services or equivalent will be preferred.
Hours may include daytime, evenings and weekends. Wages vary based on experience and qualifications.
