Reminder: Commercial Property Tax Deadline

A reminder that commercial property owners must pay outstanding 2020 property taxes by September 30 to avoid penalty.
Late payment penalties for Commercial properties (classes 4, 5, 6, 7 & 8 ) are postponed to October 1, 2020 through the Province of B.C.’s COVID-19 Action Plan.
Property Tax Payment Options
There are several different ways to pay your property taxes, including online, telephone, and in-person banking through your financial institution; by mail to Courtenay City Hall, or through the mail slot at the City Hall main entrance.
A limited number of in-person appointments may be available for those who can't use other payment options.
