Courtenay Council Applauds Provincial Announcement of Funding for Two North Island Hospitals

City of Courtenay Mayor and Council welcomed the news today that the provincial government, through the Ministry of Health, has given the green light for the North Island Hospitals Project, which includes a new hospital to be located in Courtenay.

Construction is scheduled to start at the Lewis Park Rotary Water Park to install a new surface made of recycled rubber tires.

Water main flushing - April and May 2012

The City of Courtenay will be conducting water main flushing in various locations in Courtenay during April and May 2012. Water main flushing will be carried out between 7:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. each weekday.
