Courtenay Recreation’s Spring Promenade at Simms Park is the place to be on Friday, April 14 for young children up to age six with an adult. This popular annual event from 11:00 am until 12:30 pm is sure to have kids hopping with ‘eggcitement’.

The fun starts with the Easter Bunny hiding some eggs while participants do arts and crafts and have ‘eggcellent’ face painting under the Pavilion roof.

Once all the eggs are hidden the Easter Bunny is ‘eggstatic’ to hop around Simms Park leading all the boys and girls while playing family friendly games.   In the Easter Egg Hunt, children will be searching for their very own specially marked egg that will be hidden ‘eggxactly’ where the Easter Bunny left it!

After the hunt, the Easter Bunny and some friends will be getting together for what will be the biggest collection of fuzzy friends ever seen in the Comox Valley!

Please dress according to the weather as this event is outdoors and runs rain or shine. Don’t forget to wear proper footwear.

Registration is $8.00 per family and the deadline to register is April 10th To register, call or drop-by the Courtenay Recreation Lewis Centre, 250-338-5371.
