Lewis Centre Reopened

Update 2:45 pm: The Lewis Centre will be closed for the rest of the day (Thursday January 28). The  water in the parking lot is still too high to allow the facility to reopen. We anticipate being able to open as usual on Friday morning; we will issue an update in the morning as soon as we can confirm. Thank you for your patience.

Update 11:54 am: The Lewis Centre will remain closed for now due to excess water in the parking lot. The estimated potential reopening time is now 3:00 pm. We will provide an update after 2:00 pm.

7:48 am: The Lewis Centre will be closed until noon today (Thursday, January 28) due to excess water in the parking lot. Morning programs have been cancelled; Courtenay Recreation staff will be calling patrons signed up for programs this morning to let them know about the closure. We will provide an update as soon as the facility reopens.

To make up for today's class cancellations, Courtenay Recreation will try to schedule an additional class at the end of the session. If this is not possible, they will issue a credit on account to make up for the cancelled classes.
