The Courtenay Fire Department purchased the fire truck new and has maintained the fire truck to all required standards. The fire truck is in very good running condition and all systems and pumps are operational, hoses are not included. All maintenance records are available for review and the paper files will be included for the buyer.
The City of Courtenay will be using an auction bidding procedure to dispose of surplus fleet vehicles All fleet vehicles will be awarded to the highest compliant bidder, subject to meeting the minimum reserve that may be set for the fleet vehicle, by the City. Fleet vehicles are sold as-is, where-is. Auction bidding closes Friday, October 30th at 2:00pm.
