Courtenay Volunteer Fire Department is Tree Chipping for Y.A.N.A. this Weekend

Come get your Christmas tree chipped this Saturday or Sunday (January 3 or 4). The event is from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm at the Courtenay Firehall (650 Cumberland Road). Trees can also be dropped off during the same time frame in East Courtenay at the Thrifty’s parking lot (Lerwick/Ryan Road location).

Chipping is by donation ($5 minimum) with 100% of the proceeds going to Y.A.N.A. (You Are Not Alone).

The chipped trees will be used by the Courtenay Parks department on flower beds and pathways throughout the City.
