Copperfield Ridge Trail Closure

More maintenance work is coming up on the Copperfield Ridge Trail, off Swanson Street and Steele Crescent (near the Cumberland and Arden Road intersection). The trail will be closed from Monday, August 10 to Wednesday, August 12, from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm each day. 

Contractors will be installing a new trail crossing over Piercy Creek.

This crush-gravel trail connects Steele Crescent to the Comox Logging Road. The trail is shown on the diagram below, within the red cloud outline.

July 29, 2015:

The Copperfield Ridge Trail has reopened, a day ahead of schedule. Maintenance work on the trail is complete. Work was originally planned to continue until Thursday, July 30.

Expect one more closure on this trail from August 10 to 12, 2015 while crews install the last section of trail over Piercy Creek.

Copperfield Ridge Temporary Trail Closure

The trail at the new Copperfield Ridge subdivision off Swanson Street and Steele Crescent (near the Cumberland and Arden Road intersection) will be closed for maintenance from Tuesday, July 28 to Thursday, July 30, from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm each day.

The closure is required while crews install new drains under the trail for the next phase of the Copperfield subdivision. This crush-gravel trail connects Steele Crescent to the Comox Logging Road. The trail is shown on the diagram below, within the red cloud outline.
