Sidewalk Cleaning on 5th Street this Thursday

On Thursday April 16, contractors working for the City of Courtenay will be power-washing sidewalks on the south side of 5^th Street in downtown Courtenay. The work will take place from 4:30 am to 10:30 am, weather permitting.

There will be noise generated by the crew and equipment during sidewalk cleaning, and we appreciate your understanding and apologize for any inconvenience.

During the sidewalk cleaning, on-street parking will be temporarily restricted and the sidewalk will be closed along the south side of 5^th Street between Cliffe Avenue and Duncan Avenue. Traffic control personnel will be available to assist pedestrians and commuters.
