Overnight Road Closure on 5th Street Early Friday

Upcoming overnight service installation work on a section of 5th Street will result in a full road closure this Friday, October 13 starting at 12:00 am until approximately 8:00 am. The closure will be in the 400-block between England and Fitzgerald Avenues. Every effort will be made to minimize impacts to area businesses.  Traffic control personnel will be on hand to assist emergency vehicles, commuters & delivery drivers in and around the work zone. Motorists should expect detours in the area, and be prepared for minor delays.

Updated: Following the full road closure, there will be additional road repairs required, resulting in single-lane alternating traffic n the work zone until approximately 10:30 am. Thanks for your patience while crews perform these necessary repairs.
