Royal Canadian Legion Application for Change to Liquor Licence

April 4, 2018

The Royal Canadian Legion Branch Number 17 at 367 Cliffe Avenue has applied to the Liquor Control and Licencing Branch (LCLB) for a transition of the existing liquor licence from "Liquor Primary Club Licence" to "Liquor Primary Licence".

The purpose of this application is to enable the applicant to provide added amenity liquor services to the public and a wider range of events such as fundraisers, meetings, or ceremonies as it is restricted under the current licence.

Proposed hours of service will be maintained from Monday to Sunday between 11 AM and 1:00 AM.

Pursuant to section 11.1 (2)(c) of the Liquor Control and Licensing Act, the local government must gather the views of residents when a licensee wishes to amend the existing approved licence.

Written comments on this application must be received by April 13, 2018 at 4:00 pm. Council will consider the application at the April 16, 2018 Council meeting.
