Curbside Collection Delays Due to Snow

Update January 14, 9:00 am:
Today, several areas will get picked up that didn’t on Saturday. This includes Piercy Avenue to Swanson Street and Cumberland Road to 1st Street as well as the areas around Salisbury Road, Webb Road, Lake Trail Road, Powerhouse Road and Arden Road.

Please keep your recycling, garbage and yard waste out at the curb. There will also be a truck sweeping behind for those who have taken their garbage in but have called in to inform Public Works.

An update on the Courtenay collection schedule. Our contractor is working hard and has let us know they are about a day behind due to the snow on Tuesday.

Wednesday pick up: Please put your materials out on Thursday
Thursday pick up: Please put your materials out on Friday
Friday pick up: Please put your materials out on Saturday

We’ll provide updates as we have them. Thank you for your understanding.

Previously: On Tuesday, January 8 some garbage and recycling collection was missed due to weather. Please leave your garbage and recycling out at the curb for pick up today.

For Wednesday pick up please place your materials curbside today. If they are missed today, they will be picked up tomorrow.

Previously: For those with Tuesday curbside collection, please note that residential garbage, yard waste and recycling collection contractors are behind schedule today due to snow.
