Application for Structural Change to Liquor Licence: Gladstone Brewing Company

Gladstone Brewing Company, 244 4th Street, has submitted an application to the Liquor & Cannabis Regulation Branch (LCRB) for a structural change to their liquor licence. The change would increase the seating capacity from 148 to 310 patrons by:

  • Incorporating the existing patio with the approved Liquor Licence area
  • Adding an extension to the patio
  • Increasing interior seating

Pursuant to section 38 (3)(c) of the Liquor Control and Licensing Act, the local government must gather the views of residents when the applicant has given the local government notice of the application. In order to gather the views of residents, the City’s will post notice of the application on the City’s main website for 3 weeks.

The public comment gathering period will be open between November 17 – December 7, 2020. Council will consider the application at a future Council meeting.
