Courtenay Recreation Update: Proof of Vaccination Requirements Lifting as of April 8

The Province of B.C. is lifting proof of vaccination requirements as of Friday, April 8. Starting Friday, proof of vaccination will no longer be required for Courtenay Recreation activities or programs.

Please be mindful that our patrons may have different comfort levels with these changes. Respect physical distancing, wash your hands regularly, and stay home if you feel sick. While masks have been optional since March 11, some patrons and staff may choose to continue wearing them.

We appreciate your continued understanding as we adapt to these updated public health orders, and please continue to be kind and respectful of others in our facilities. Thank you.
