Vendor and parade entries wanted for Courtenay’s Canada Day celebrations

May 22, 2025

Courtenay’s Canada Day celebrations are just around the corner, and the City is inviting vendors and parade participants to be part of the festivities on June 30 and July 1 in Downtown Courtenay and Lewis Park.

Join the Canada Day parade on Tuesday, July 1, and showcase your business, organization or community group. Floats, walking groups, decorated vehicles and other creative entries are all welcome — and there’s no cost to participate.

Want to connect with thousands of event-goers? Apply for a vendor or information booth at the Night Before concert on June 30 and the Canada Day celebrations on July 1. This is a great opportunity to promote your products, services or community cause. Vendor fees apply, based on the type of booth.

The much-loved children’s bike draw is also returning for kids aged 5 to 12. The City is seeking sponsors to donate new bikes and helmets to support this long-standing tradition. If you’d like to contribute, please email rcoltura@courtenay.ca.

Applications for vendors, information booths and parade entries close June 14 or until full. Early applications are encouraged.
