Virtual Public Hearing December 16, 2020
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and in accordance with Ministerial Order No. M192/2020 and the Class Order (mass gatherings), Public Hearings will be conducted virtually and live-streamed on the City of Courtenay YouTube channel. Anyone who believes they are affected by a proposed bylaw shall be given a reasonable opportunity to be heard.
All written submissions must be received by 2 p.m. on the day of the hearing. Submissions should contain the writer’s name and address which become part of the public record.
Please note: The public hearing end time is an estimate. Actual end time will vary depending on the duration of the public hearings.
Live-stream broadcasts of Public Hearings are only available while the meeting is in session. To prioritize the comfort of all participants and encourage public participation, web broadcasts will be removed following the conclusion of the public hearing.
