 Each year May 1 -7  is celebrated as BC Youth Week and for the last 10 years, The LINC Youth Centre has been leading the local celebrations! This year is shaping up to be one of the best! Check out the event listing and info on the bigger events below.

Returning during BC Youth Week is Extreme Rec Night, Friday May 3! This second installment will have youth 11-16 years busy from 3:30-10:30pm as they tour around the Comox Valley’s recreation centres being active and having fun! Youth will meet at The MOX Youth Centre, 19 Wing Fitness & Community Centre for games and snacks before boarding the bus and heading to The LINC Youth Centre for access to the games room, skatepark and a BBQ! Next up is rock climbing and archery tag at Cumberland Rec (waivers available here) before finishing the night at the Aquatic Centre for swimming, games and a snack bar! Registration is $10 in advance, or $15/drop-in. Transportation is also available from The LINC to The MOX. For more information visit www.courtenay.ca/extreme

Another special part of Youth Week is the Gnarly Little Spring Craft Fair. Build on their entrepreneurial skills and showcase their talents in crafts, art, baking, photography, jewelry and more!
