Important Tax Deadlines

A reminder of important tax deadlines for City of Courtenay home owners.
If you haven't already:
- Claimed a home owner grant for 2019 *
- Claimed a retroactive home owner grant for 2018
- Paid your 2019 property taxes
- Submitted an application to defer 2019 property taxes
The deadline is December 31, 2019 at 3:00 p.m. (Courtenay City Hall is closing at 3:00 p.m.)
After that date, interest begins to accrue. For more information, please call Financial Services at 250-334-4441.
*Please note: you may claim your home owner grant online until midnight on December 31.
