Fire Ban for Courtenay and Fire Protection District
As a result of a campfire ban issued by BC Wildfire Service, the Comox Valley Regional District (CVRD) and its surrounding partner agencies will be issuing the same campfire ban effective Friday, July 12, 2024 at 12:00 noon Pacific Daylight Time.

Highway 19A Bypass Overnight Closures July 8, 9 and 10
As part of the City of Courtenay’s Comox Road Sewer Project, the Highway 19A Bypass will be closed at Comox Road between 6 p.m. and 6 a.m. on the nights of July 8, 9 and 10.
