Indoor/Outdoor Fitness, Yoga, & Tai Chi Instructors

We are looking for fun, energetic and highly motivated individuals to join our Active Living Instructor Team! If you have a desire to continue to learn and grow in the job, are committed to serving the public, enjoy team work and contributing to a safe environment, plus have a passion for fitness, then we are looking for you!

This is a non-union, exempt position responsible for working with public ages 16+ in structured and unstructured environments. Applicants must have a passion for health and fitness and be willing and able to instruct programs throughout weekdays, mornings, evenings and weekends (indoors and outdoors), possess First Aid, and be willing to obtain a criminal record check. High school graduation or equivalent PLUS one or more of the following designations dependent upon course of instruction:BCRPA Group Fitness or accepted equivalent, BCRPA Weight Training designation or accepted equivalent, Recognized Yoga Teacher Certification, Tai Chi Instructor certification, Spin/indoor cycling, Older Adult, Osteofit, TRX certification is also preferred. Experience and/or certificates in recreation, education, human/social services or equivalent will also be considered.

Hours may include daytime, mornings, evenings and weekends. Wages vary based on experience and qualifications.
