Online Tax Certificate Service for Lawyers and Notaries
Beginning March 15, 2019, Lawyers and Notaries will have access to online tax certificates for properties within the City of Courtenay. Tax certificates will only be available through Tax Certificates Online (TCOL) provided by Access Point Information Canada (APIC).
Our move to online certificates will help us better serve our customers. By purchasing certificates directly through APIC’s website, users will have easier access to certificates, save time, and improve turnaround time for receiving tax information.
To obtain certificates:
- Customers using a credit card to purchase City of Courtenay Tax Certificates can register with Access Point Information Canada (APIC) at apicanada.com and select Tax Certificates Online.
- 2. myLTSA Enterprise: If you have an account, log in and from the main menu, select Service Providers and Order Tax Certificates. For more information about myLTSA or to become a customer, visit ltsa.ca
The City of Courtenay’s fee for tax certificates has not changed, and remains $10 per certificate. However, regular users will see a change in the total invoice as the service provider will include an additional service charge.
