As the festive season approaches, Courtenay families are invited to join in the holiday cheer at the annual Children’s Christmas Party on Saturday, December 6 at the Lewis Centre Activity Room.
Courtenay Recreation staff are working hard behind the scenes just like Santa’s elves to create a joyful celebration filled with holiday-themed activities, cheerful entertainment, and a visit from Santa Claus. The event runs from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and welcomes children aged 9 and under, accompanied by an adult.
“We’re looking forward to a truly magical day, complete with a special guest from the North Pole,” says Roberta Churchill, Early Years Programming and Preschool Supervisor. “Families are encouraged to bring a camera to capture their child’s moment with Santa.”
The party will feature a festive sing-along and ukulele performance by the Evergreen Seniors, hands-on crafts, games and a chance for kids to write letters to Santa.
