A pre-application meeting helps you understand what is required before you submit a formal application.
Whether you are a homeowner exploring options or a development team preparing a large project, this meeting gives you clarity early in the process. It helps identify potential issues, confirm the right applications, and outline next steps.
Pre-application meetings are advisory only and do not guarantee approval.
Why request a pre-application meeting?
A pre-application meeting allows you to:
Confirm which applications are required
Understand submission requirements
Identify technical studies that may be needed
Discuss applicable policies and bylaws
Reduce delays during formal review
Ask questions before investing further time and resources
Early conversations save time and reduce uncertainty.
The applicant or registered professional is responsible for submitting complete and consistent materials. Applications with significant inconsistencies may be returned without review.
Please submit materials in PDF format at least one week before the meeting.
