The Comox Valley Regional District (CVRD) partners with BC Transit and Watson and Ash Transportation Co. Ltd. to provide transit in the Comox Valley. These organizations set fares, plan schedules, collect public feedback and assess growth patterns to guide future expansion.
Where to buy transit passes
You can buy UMO transit passes at City Hall (830 Cliffe Avenue) and other local vendors. For the most up-to-date list of transit pass vendors, visit BC Transit.
Bus shelters
The City of Courtenay, in partnership with BC Transit, installs up to three new bus shelters each year.
When selecting locations, the City and CVRD review transit usage and route data to place shelters where they are most needed.
