Step into a haunted Wonderland
The Comox Valley’s premiere youth-led haunted house experience is back at The LINC Youth Centre in Courtenay — and this year’s theme takes a dark twist on Alice in Wonderland.
Will you dare to tumble down the rabbit hole into a world where nothing is quite as it seems? Watch out for creepy card guards, a menacing Mad Hatter and a Queen of Hearts with a terrifying temper.
On Halloween night (Friday, October 31), Half the Fright Night offers a gentler version of the Haunted House for younger children and those who are more easily frightened.
Created by local youth
The Haunted House is organized by youth aged 8–18 years in The LINC’s Ghoul School with support from staff. Local youth have been working hard to plan the theme, design the sets and props, and bring the spooky characters to life.
Duration and wait times
It takes about five minutes to explore the Haunted House, but wait times can vary. Enjoy The LINC Youth Centre while you wait — play ping pong, air hockey or pool, and grab Halloween treats from the concession. The youth appreciate your patience and hope their performance will be worth the wait!
