Simms Summer Concerts return this month with free live music on Sunday evenings throughout the summer. The season opener is Exit 30 on Sunday, June 28, at 7 p.m.
Exit 30 is a six-piece rock band from Campbell River playing classic rock, modern covers and original music. The lineup features AJ Lontayao on guitar and vocals, Kevin Johnstone on bass, Lucas Murray on drums, Eli Rosenthal on keys and vocals, Willum Ashurst on keys, and Finley Kyle on guitar. Every member contributes vocally, bringing rich harmonies to their sound.
The concert will run approximately one to two hours. Bring a lawn chair or blanket and settle in for a night of live music.
Please note: Concerts have been temporarily relocated to Lewis Park while construction work is underway at Simms Millennium Park.
Other performances this summer include The Doobie Brothers Experience on July 5, Joel Lee on July 12 and The Sharp Seven on July 19.
