Visit an awesome youth craft fair in the valley! Courtenay Recreation is hosting the Gnarly Spring Craft Fair at the Native Sons Hall on Saturday, May 2 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. as part of BC Youth Week celebrations.
Every year the fair showcases talented youth aged 9 to 19 years with over 30 vendors will be selling their wares including baking, art, crafts, fibre arts, jewellery, woodwork, and more.
“The gnarly fair features fun, creative and high-quality products made by youth,” says Shannon Pickerl, children and youth programming supervisor for Courtenay Recreation. “It’s great to see youth being excited to offer their wares and learning entrepreneurial skills. Come pick up a treat for yourself or shop for Mother’s Day.”
