Project background

The City identified a gap in the pedestrian network along a short but heavily travelled section of Ryan Road between Back Road and Sandwick Road.

People regularly walk through this area to access a BC Transit bus stop, travel between neighbourhoods and connect to homes in Braidwood and North Island College.

The project also includes upgraded street lighting to improve visibility along this section of road.
