Simple steps can help keep your property safe, tidy and respectful of your neighbours.
What you need to know
- Keep your property clean and tidy.
- Quiet hours are 10 p.m. to 7 a.m. Do not use power tools or machinery during these hours.
- Construction noise is permitted:
- 7 a.m. to 10 p.m., Monday to Saturday (excluding statutory holidays)
- 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Sundays and statutory holidays
- These noise rules do not apply to City staff, City contractors, the Ministry of Transportation and Transit, public utilities or emergency repairs.
- Maintain boulevards and keep sidewalks clear, including:
- removing noxious weeds
- trimming grass
- cutting back shrubs and trees to keep walkways and roads unobstructed
