Council will consider 1st, 2nd and 3rd readings of Zoning – Amendment Bylaw No. 3157 –
Medium Density Multi-Residential (RM-1) at the May 7, 2025, regular Council meeting.
In accordance with sections 464 (2) of the Local Government Act, the City is not required
to hold a public hearing when consistent with the official community plan. The purpose of
the bylaw is to add a new residential zone to Division 8 Classification of Zones and rezone
the subject property from Residential Small-Scale Multi-Unit Housing (R-SSMUH) to
Medium Density Multi-Residential (RM-1).

LOT 230, COMOX DISTRICT, PLAN - 1218
