The City of Courtenay intends to renew the following lease for the Courtenay Marina commencing on January 1, 2026.
Location: 2040 Cliffe Avenue, Courtenay BC*
To be leased by: Courtenay Marina Society
Lease amount: 10 per cent of the rents levied and received by the Courtenay Marina Society for annual boat moorage on the leased premises.
Lease term: Five years, with two additional five-year options to renew.
The difference between the lease amount and the market value of the lease is considered to be approximately $6,755 annually. This amount is considered assistance to the Courtenay
Marina Society.
