The City of Courtenay intends to renew the following leaseat the Courtenay Airpark.
Location 1: 100–20th Street, Courtenay, B.C.*
To be leased by: Courtenay Airpark Association
Lease amount: $1.00 per year, plus 50% of member parking fees, plus30% of net fuel profits
Lease term: Five years, with two additionalfive-year options to renew
The market value of the lease is$35,235 annually. The Courtenay Airpark Association provides an estimated $11,727 of in-kind contributions annually, and the lease amount is an estimated $19,160 annually. Therefore, the assistance the City provides to the Courtenay Airpark Association is approximately$4,348 annually.
