The Comox Valley Regional District (CVRD) have lifted Stage 3 water restrictions on Friday, September 4, 2026 and have reinstated Stage 2 in accordance with water-flow rate limits in the Puntledge River.
These restrictions will apply to any residence in the Town of Comox, City of Courtenay, K’omoks First Nation and the Comox Valley Water Local Service Area.
Stage Two Water Restrictions:
A person may only use a sprinkler to water a lawn and garden growing on a property on the following schedule:
- Even numbered addresses: On Tuesday and Saturday between the hours of 6 a.m. – 7:30 a.m. and 8 p.m. – 9:30 p.m. They may not use a sprinkler to water the lawn or garden on any other day or time
- Odd numbered addresses: On Wednesday and Sunday between the hours of 6 a.m. – 7:30 a.m. and 8 p.m. – 9:30 p.m. They may not use a sprinkler to water the lawn or garden on any other day or time.
