Courtenay Recreation facility updates

The following Courtenay Recreation facilities have modified hours and/or access due to an ongoing emergency incident:

  • Lewis Centre 
    • Wellness Centre and squash courts will reopen until 9 p.m. on the evening of May 26, 2026. All scheduled programs at the Lewis Centre have been cancelled for May 26.
    • The Lewis Centre will reopen for normal hours and programs will resume on Wednesday, May 27.
  • The LINC Youth Centre will remain closed for the remainder of May 26, but will reopen with normal hours May 27.
  • Florence Filberg Centre will reopen with normal hours Wednesday, May 27.
  • Native Sons Hall will reopen with normal hours on Wednesday, May 27.
  • All park washrooms, outbuildings and field houses will reopen May 26 in the evening.
