Our Building Division is responsible for enforcing the BC Building and Plumbing Codes as well as local bylaws related to building construction. We oversee:

- Technical review of development applications

BC Building Code

New building bylaw
- Building Bylaw No. 3114 [PDF/398KB] came into effect on January 1, 2024, introducing new requirements for construction and energy efficiency standards.
